.This is a beautiful cherry salad bowl with several defined ridges on the outside.  The inside of this very colorful bowl is polished smooth with a non-toxic beeswax based product.  The outside is not quite so polished to give it more of an antique flavor.  The bowl was also turned down and dried to give it a natural bend to the wood.  This technique produced an awesome salad bowl with tons of character.
